Does Dressing Sense Matter?

What is Dressing Sense?

Do you have answers for it, if so just recall those once.

Well, let me go ahead and define what actually I understood about Dressing Sense.

In general it is defined as, “ way of protecting our body”. Well I feel like adding something to the first part, yes it’s a way of protecting but it’s a basic one. In broader context I feel like, It’s a way of expressing ourselves. Well let me explain why I said so, In general if we are meeting different people in different occasions, we will notice What that guy/girl is wearing, won’t we?

Yes, we usually notice what people are wearing, how well they are giving importance to their dressing sense for that occasion. Because our appearance is the first form of Expressing Ourselves.

It doesn’t mean that you should have better dressing sense to impress someone, It is just a way of Expressing yourself without really interacting with people.

I think, I had given enough clarification on why I said It’s a way of expressing ourselves.

In this blog, I’m going to explain how to dress while we are attending for an Interview.

In order to stand out from the crowd, I have some suggestions.

For Boys::

RULE 1: Try to put your body in Formals.

While attending for an interview, make sure that you dresses in formals.

RULE 2: Choosing colors, fit and patterns for Formals.

Colors: Don’t go for punchy color combinations of your formals. Choose pleasant colors of shirts and pants. The colors of your shirt and trouser should complement each other.

Fit: Try to have perfect fitted formals, this will enhance your look. Don't choose over sized or under sized.

Patterns: Shirts- Solids, Small check and with small and decent printed shirts.
Trouser: Keep it simple and solid.

RULE 3: Always wear vests under the shirts.

If you are going by bikes or public transport, usually we will sweat so it’s better to wear vests, helps in absorbing the sweat.

RULE 4: Always combine formal shoes with formals.

Don’t ever try to wear casual shoes with formals, it looks weird.

RULE 5: Always tuck in your shirt inside the pant properly.

NOTE: Make sure your shirt’s placket, Belt Buckle and trouser Seam aligned.

RULE 6: Belt and shoe color rule.
Always try to match the colors of belt and shoe. If you are wearing brown belt wear brown shoe, else black with black.

RULE 7: Sock’s length.

Don’t go for No show socks and Ankle length socks, always choose formal socks with solid colors. (prefer black, navy blue, dark grey or brown)

RULE 8: Watches.

Always wear watches along with formals, because watches uplift your personality.

Note:: Don’t go for heavy metallic chronographs. Go for Minimalist watches, (if you have smartwatches or bands they ll do justice.)

RULE 9: Avoid backpacks for interviews.

When you wear backpacks, it will ruin ironed formals. Prefer office side-bags for carrying required documents and laptops.

RULE 10: Carry comb, face-wash, napkins/hand kerchiefs, pocket perfumes.

Once you enter to the interview location, first you go to rest room and have a look of yourself (if require wash your face and comb neatly) if you are looking fine then proceed for your interview.

RULE 11: If you have sight, well that completes your rule number 11, else try to wear 0 powered spectacle, it will bring you official look.

RULE 12: After considering all above rules, this is the last but the most important one is, CONFIDENCE. Yes, be confident and have positive attitude, not arrogance.

Hope this blog helps you in uplifting your dressing sense for Interview.
