Does Dressing Sense Matter?

What is Dressing Sense?

Do you have answers for it, if so just recall those once.

Well, let me go ahead and define what actually I understood about Dressing Sense.

In general it is defined as, “ way of protecting our body”. Well I feel like adding something to the first part, yes it’s a way of protecting but it’s a basic one. In broader context I feel like, It’s a way of expressing ourselves. Well let me explain why I said so, In general if we are meeting different people in different occasions, we will notice What that guy/girl is wearing, won’t we?

Yes, we usually notice what people are wearing, how well they are giving importance to their dressing sense for that occasion. Because our appearance is the first form of Expressing Ourselves.

It doesn’t mean that you should have better dressing sense to impress someone, It is just a way of Expressing yourself without really interacting with people.

I think, I had given enough clarification on why I said It’s a way of expressing ourselves.

In this blog, I’m going to explain how to dress while we are attending for an Interview.

In order to stand out from the crowd, I have some suggestions.

For Boys::

RULE 1: Try to put your body in Formals.

While attending for an interview, make sure that you dresses in formals.

Formals

RULE 2: Choosing colors, fit and patterns for Formals.

Colors: Don’t go for punchy color combinations of your formals. Choose pleasant colors of shirts and pants. The colors of your shirt and trouser should complement each other.

Fit: Try to have perfect fitted formals, this will enhance your look. Don't choose over sized or under sized.

Patterns: Shirts- Solids, Small check and with small and decent printed shirts.
Trouser: Keep it simple and solid.

RULE 3: Always wear vests under the shirts.

If you are going by bikes or public transport, usually we will sweat so it’s better to wear vests, helps in absorbing the sweat.

RULE 4: Always combine formal shoes with formals.

Don’t ever try to wear casual shoes with formals, it looks weird.

RULE 5: Always tuck in your shirt inside the pant properly.

NOTE: Make sure your shirt’s placket, Belt Buckle and trouser Seam aligned.

RULE 6: Belt and shoe color rule.
Always try to match the colors of belt and shoe. If you are wearing brown belt wear brown shoe, else black with black.

RULE 7: Sock’s length.

Don’t go for No show socks and Ankle length socks, always choose formal socks with solid colors. (prefer black, navy blue, dark grey or brown)

RULE 8: Watches.

Always wear watches along with formals, because watches uplift your personality.

Note:: Don’t go for heavy metallic chronographs. Go for Minimalist watches, (if you have smartwatches or bands they ll do justice.)

RULE 9: Avoid backpacks for interviews.

When you wear backpacks, it will ruin ironed formals. Prefer office side-bags for carrying required documents and laptops.

RULE 10: Carry comb, face-wash, napkins/hand kerchiefs, pocket perfumes.

Once you enter to the interview location, first you go to rest room and have a look of yourself (if require wash your face and comb neatly) if you are looking fine then proceed for your interview.

RULE 11: If you have sight, well that completes your rule number 11, else try to wear 0 powered spectacle, it will bring you official look.
Spectacle

RULE 12: After considering all above rules, this is the last but the most important one is, CONFIDENCE. Yes, be confident and have positive attitude, not arrogance.

Hope this blog helps you in uplifting your dressing sense for Interview.

Unplanned road trip to Yercuad

It was on 21st February, the time was around 11 PM in the night, I was just came to room from party as it was Friday night. My phone battery was almost dead. I received a call from my college friend by name Satish, he asked me to share my location in what's app. I shared the location, Satish along with one more my college friend by name Shubham came to my flat (near Oxford College, Banglore) around 11.45 PM from Vijayanagar. Satish and Shubham started explaining about their plan of roadtrip to Pondicherry and I was not comfortable as it was too far from Banglore for a road trip. I told these 2 guys, let's first will go to Raghu's room (another friend from my college who is working in Electronic city phase 2) then will decide about destination.
Botonical Garden's VIew (PC- Oneplus 7)

Around 12:30 we reached Raghu's room, it was triple ride for us. In his room, we discussed about destination and we finalized to Ooty. Satish told will sleep for an hour or two, then will start our trip, i was not happy with this because I knew that if we sleep it'll be hard to get up after two hours of nap. I told all of them to sleep as I will be awake. I stared scrolling some Tiktok videos and don't know when I slept.

(guy with spect is Praveen (it's me), the one taking selfie is Satish and the guy behind me is Raghu and remaining is Shubham)

When I woke up, it was around 9 AM in the morning, I kicked Satish's ass saying it was your decision of sleeping for for an hour or tow. He told no problem will change the destination. Finally we decided to go to Yercaud, which is 20 kms from Salem in Tamilnadu.

So we started our trip of 4 people with 2 bikes around 10.30 AM on 22nd Feb, Saturday. It's about 215 KMS from Electronic City phase 2, we reached Yercaud around 2 PM with couple of tea breaks between.

It was a nice Hill-station covered with lots of visitors during weekend and some bikers were too with their super-bikes. We visited view point first and then we had food (bread omelette, egg Maggie and some paddu). After that we went to Lake as we wanted to do some boating and I inquired about fare and timings, the lady in the ticket counted replied all the slots are filled for the day, so I returned with a dull face, though we took some pics their.

Then we went to lady's seat, at first I thought it's only for ladies. We also visited Gent's seat to provide Gender equality (joking). Then visited to botonical garden to took some panaroma, time-lapse and slow motion videos of Satish's jumps. It was around 7 PM, they sky was getting darker and decided to head back to Banglore, while returning Purchased some home made chocolates.

Finally it was around 1.30 AM on Sunday we reached Electronic city after having dinner at Hotel Tamilnadu on our way back to Banglore.

If you guys are looking to visit this place, please plan it for 2 days unlike us, you can have sun rise view and explore more places.
